Ericsson Building which is to be Ericsson(China)¡¯s Headquarter is finished in the West Area of Electronic City of Zhong-guangchun Science Park in Wangjing. In the morning, July, 20, Ericsson holds an opening ceremony for the completion of the building. Karl XVI Gustaf, Swedish King attends the opening ceremony.

In the opening ceremony, Karl XVI Gustaf, Vice Premier Bosse Ringholm£¬ Mr. Börje Ljunnggren, Swedish embassy to China, Mr. Jiang Yaoping, Vice Minister of Information Industry, Mr. Huang Shuhe, Vice Director of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Mr. Lu Hao, Vice Major of Beijing, Mr. Chen Gang, Chief of Chaoyang District, attend the ceremony and cut the ribbon.

As it knew, Ericsson Building, prepared in 2004, was built up by Science Park according to the design of Ericsson company. The first phrase covers 46,000 meter square for 1,400 persons. While it is finished, Ericsson¡¯s sections dispersed in Beijing will move in this new building. Meanwhile, the head office of Ericsson (China) Research Institute will also settle down here.

According to other interviews, there are totally fourteen   headquarters of multinational corporations signed in West Area of Electronic City of Zhong-guangchun Sci-tech Park in Wangjing. Among them, seven including North Telecommunication have settled down in the Park.
