The 7^th Beijing CBD International Business Festival was ceremoniously opened on the morning of September 21^st. The business festive strives to exhibit the significant role of Beijing as a capital city and the favorable opportunity as well as the development as brought by Beijing 2008 Olympiad. Therefore, the festival tries to achieve the goals as to fulfill the positioning of district function, enhancing the city administration level, speeding up the congregated development of the industry and strengthening the overall competitiveness.   
   

Ms. He Luli, Vice-chairman of NPC, Wang Qishan, mayor of Beijing Municipality, Li Jinzhang, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Department of PRC, Ma Xiuhong, Deputy Director of Department of Commerce£¬Long Yongtu, President of Beijing CBD International Forum and Secretary-General of Boao Forum for Asia, Suo Liansheng, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Beijing Municipality NPC, Jiang Xiaoyu, Vice-President of BOCOG as well as LI Shixiang, Chen Gang, Zhu Jiaqi and Li Ming, officials from four levels of the Chaoyang District government attended the opening ceremony.

In comparison with the last six ones, the festival is featured five new highlights: an emphasis on the forefront financial status of CBD, a revelation of the creative cultural industry of Chaoyang District, a concern with the city security and public administration, the exploration of a sustainable way of developing a economized city and the establishment of CBD as a high-end business platform.

After the opening ceremony, the leaders of all levels with guests from various circles were shown around the theme exhibition of ¡°Cultural Beijing and Creative Chaoyang¡±.
