A party of 36 members from Taiwan New Alliance headed by Chairman Xu Linong paid a visit to Chaoyang District. The relevant leaders of Revolutionary Committee of Chinese Kuomintang Central Committee, RCCK Beijing Municipal Committee and Chaoyang District including Zheng Jianbang, Shen Naihong, Ye Jie and Guan Sanduo accompanied their visit.

The members of Taiwan New Alliance ascended the top of SOHO outside Jianguomen for the first time, watched the status quo and sand table model of Beijing CBD and listened to the functional positioning and present construction of Beijing CBD.

Having left CBD, the delegation walked along the landscape avenue to visit Chaoyang Sports Center where the 11th World Youth Athletics Championship just concluded, listened to the successful completion of the World Youth Athletics Championship, the venue establishment and the post-event utilization.

Afterwards, the delegation paid a visit to the lake-digging and hill-piling project of Olympic Forest Park under construction, and the planning sand table and construction spot of main Olympic venue - Bird¡¯s Nest and Water Cubic. The delegation members carefully watched all kinds of models, pictures and words, and listened to the commentator¡¯s introduction of construction progress, and event facilities and functions of Olympic venues. They all had their photos taken as souvenirs on the construction sites.

Xu Linong, Chairman of Taiwan New Alliance spoke highly of the rapid growth of Chaoyang District and the construction of Olympic venues, and wished the successful completion of Beijing 2008 Olympics Games.
