Regular passenger flights have officially launched between Beijing Capital International Airport and Tokyo Haneda Airport in Ota-khu since 25 October 2009. In order to celebrate the launching of new flights, Mr. Matsubara Tadayoshi, Head of Ota-khu Government and Mr. Nagai, Chairman of Parliament of Ota-khu respectively headed the delegation of the Government and Parliament of Ota-khu (the friendly city of Chaoyang District) by the first direct charter flight to visit our district.

On the morning of October 26, Mr. Cheng Lianyuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Chaoyang District & Head of Chaoyang District and Mr. Wang Lijun, Director of People's Congress of Chaoyang District met the delegation of Ota-khu from Tokyo. Mr. Guan Sanduo, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC of Chaoyang District and other leaders from Office of People's Congress of Chaoyang District, Office of Chaoyang District Government, Foreign Affairs Office of Chaoyang District, Women's Federation of Chaoyang District and Chaoyang District Committee of the Communist Youth League were also present at the meeting.

In addition, a commemorating evening hosted by Ota-khu Government was held on the evening of 26 October 2009 so as to celebrate the launching of passenger flights between Beijing Capital International Airport and Tokyo Haneda Airport in Ota-khu. Mr. Wang Lijun, Director of People's Congress of Chaoyang District, Mr. Guan Sanduo, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC of Chaoyang District, Mr. Zhang Zhi, Assistant to Head of Chaoyang District and other leaders from Office of People's Congress of Chaoyang District, Office of Chaoyang District Government, Foreign Affairs Office of Chaoyang District, Women's Federation of Chaoyang District and Chaoyang District Committee of the Communist Youth League participated in the event.
